It feels good when you’re in charge of your health. It’s even better when you know your costs are covered.

With your WPS plan, qualifying preventive services are covered at 100% when you see an in‑network provider. That means no copay and no deductible or maximum dollar limit for services that include:

  • Preventive visit for adults
    An annual exam focused on staying healthy.
  • Well-child visits
    Routine checkups throughout childhood based on recommended age guidelines.
  • Routine immunizations
    Vaccines recommended for children and adults by the CDC.
  • Age and risk‑based preventive screenings
    Services such as mammograms and colon cancer screening recommended under the ACA preventive care guidelines.
  • Certain preventive medications
    Medications required to be covered under ACA rules when prescribed for preventive use.

The American Cancer Society helps educate people on how to reduce their risk of cancer by encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. Consider not smoking and not using other tobacco products, maintain a healthy body weight, get regular physical activity, eat a healthy diet, limit alcohol consumption and get cancer-screening tests.

By following a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, and being physically active, you can maintain a healthy weight and help lower your cholesterol level.
