EDI TIBCO Legacy Announcement


As part of our ongoing commitment to securing our customers' information, WPS Health Solutions is updating the list of acceptable protocols and ciphers used for secure transports with our TIBCO platform (commonly referred to as "WPS Community Manager") AND our legacy platform, secure-edi.wpsic.com.

If you exchange data with our TIBCO platform, WPS Community Manager:

Effective Saturday, March 23, 2019, WPS will require TLS version 1.2 and one of the following acceptable ciphers:

HTTPS Ciphers

  • TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
  • TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
  • TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
  • TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
  • TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
  • TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
  • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
  • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
  • TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
  • TLS_DHE_DSS_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384

sFTP Ciphers

  • Aes128-ctr SSH2 client/server cipher
  • Aes192-ctr SSH2 client/server cipher
  • Aes256-ctr SSH2 client/server cipher
  • Hmac-sha256 SSH2 client/server HMAC
  • diffie-hellman-group14-sha1 SSH2 key exchange
  • diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 SSH2 key exchange
  • diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1 SSH2 key exchange

If you exchange data with our legacy platform, secure-edi.wpsic.com:

Effective Sunday, March 31, 2019, WPS will require one of the following acceptable sFTP/SSH ciphers:

sFTP Ciphers

  • aes256-ctr
  • twofish256-ctr
  • twofish-ctr
  • aes128ctr
  • twofish128-ctr
  • 3des-ctr
  • cast128-ctr

Notification of these changes for secure-edi.wpsic.com was sent in late January with a testing period in February. All testers had successful tests. 

On our legacy system, the changes are currently limited to users who send their files via sFTP. If you send your files via a web browser, you will not be affected by these changes.
